I was born in Surrey, United Kingdom, in 1962 and I currently work in the field of business operations management. My professional role is to create business processes and challenge the status of existing processes with a view to finding improvements. My work often involves helping people to understand and buy in to the changes that come about as a result of my initiatives. In my private life I apply a lot of the same thinking as I do at work, questioning why people think and act in certain ways. I’ve always had a fascination for self-help books, popular psychology reviews and internet forums covering many different topics. This curiosity has helped me to shape my own life and sometimes it has also helped me to help others. I’m a bit of a closet philosopher, with a tendency to look at concepts and situations from many different angles. Hopefully some of my ways of thinking will inspire you to think differently too.
